We explore the Carseldine Farmers and Artisan Markets

Open every Saturday 6.00am to 12.00 noon, Carseldine Farmer’s and Artisan Markets offers market goers a haven of street food delights, fresh and locally sourced fruit and vegetables, fresh seafood and meats, dairy products, artisan baked breads, sweet and savoury pastries and beverage stalls. While we were at the markets we were treated to a BBQ cooking demonstration and fresh Summer breakfast prepared by ex Esquire chef, Ben Devlin. While Ben whipped up a couple breakfast dishes to showcase the many ways you can make use of the fresh ingredients and seasonal produce that’s available from the market stallholders, we sampled pastries, cakes and artisan breads. Since I live on the west side of Brisbane, this place has become my go to café! A personal favourite of mine, Corner Store Café, offers suburban alfresco dining and one of the best brekky menus there is around Brisbane.
